Admission and hours
There is free parking throughout the village of Warffum. Parking spaces near the museum can be found on Schoolstraat, the crossing of Oosterstraat/Noorderstraat and on Stationsweg. It is best for coaches to park on Oosterstraat (next to the museum) or near the station. Bicycles can be parked next to the entrance to the museum on Schoolstraat. If you only visit the restaurant, bicycles can also be parked next to the entrance of the museum restaurant on Oosterkerkpad.
The museum site (cobblestones) is reasonably to properly accessible by disabled people. Due to the historic, authentic nature of the museum, some buildings have limited or no access for rollators or wheelchairs. The accessible toilet is in the restaurant building. There is a limited number of wheelchairs available for use from the museum’s reception. It is possible to book a wheelchair by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling +31 (0)595 42 22 33.
The museum permits guide dogs, assistance dogs and buddy dogs of people with a medical or care need. Other dogs or pets are not permitted to enter the museum.
