To this end a number of cottages, houses and buildings at the centre of Warffum have been preserved and fitted up. Like the "Kosterij" for instance, the Jewish butcher’s shop and the "gasthuis" for widowed women. At the cosy l9th century pub "bie Koboa", tea, coffee and soft drinks are served.
